Until I get a computer without vista installed, I am off the Internet (to a certain point). I will not be on any of my accounts (however, I still can read some of your comments). I still will be updating my websites offline (including the stories). These stories WILL be worked on even if it kills me...no, nevermind. I'll try and get www.jhmblog.com as soon as possible on either an XP OS or a Mac OS. But not a vista. Never.

Ø Oops...heh... and Contest Ø

6/11/2008

Mood: Normal

If any of you were wondering what happened yesterday, I was going through an episode again. I usually have those when I look at something that happened a long time ago and there's some story behind it. I was looking at that old Fruit Roll-Up commercial when it happened. I do miss the old days though...they were better than this gaming era.

Also, remember that contest I did a few months ago? Well, it's over. NintendoManiac1992 won it, due to HE WAS THE ONLY WON WHO SUBMITED! I was hoping for at most 2 submissions. Oh well. The whole thing was stupid anyway. I've been working on all of my websites designs lately, all thanks to GR Sites. Their backgrounds are really useful! Give a big round of applause, invisible audience!

Ø Old Days... Ø

6/10/2008

Mood: Normal, but a bit sad

Looking on YouTube, I saw an old Kirby commercial. Man, I miss the N64 days, back when I was (somewhat) innocent and oblivious to the real world. I remember when I played Kirby 64 everyday and many other games. I remember when I talked to Brendon about Kirby 64 and we called each character, except Kirby, an odd name. We called Waddle Dee "The Mole", King Dedede "The Penguin", Adeleine "The Painter", and Ribbon "The Fairy". We thought this was Kirby's first game, but we were wrong. When Super Smash Bros. came out, we all played it for hours a day. I wasn't very good at it, but I didn't care. Kirby was in it and so was Pokémon. Oh God, Pokémon. At that time, I liked it and I had Pokémon Stadium, Pokémon Snap!, Pokémon Red, Yellow (my favorite), and Blue, and maybe some others. Brendon and I loved the whole deal more than Kirby, I believe, but we became bored of it after 2001-ish. Then, we started liking Star Wars and Mario.

Then, Kingdom Hearts came out. At first, I scoffed at the game, but I decided to try it out, curious as I was. I instantly loved it. I played it everyday for a long time and soon after found they there was to be a sequel. I was overjoyed and became a Kingdom Hearts fanatic. Currently, I'm not much of a fan of it now, but I still like it. Heh. I remember when Super Mario Sunshine came out. God, that was a fun game. Then I got Kirby & the Amazing Mirror. That's when I knew Kirby was a franchise and years after, I found out that he was a very popular character. Even more popular than boring Sonic! Hah. I can't believe I used to like Sonic. I liked the blue hedgehog for only a short time and was more interested in other things, like Kingdom Hearts. When Kingdom Hearts 2 came out, I bought it as soon as I could. My Dad didn't let me play it until my grades improved, but soon I found myself playing it. I loved it at first and found it a lot easier than the original game (I won't be talking about Chain of Memories, by the way).

I beat Xemnas with ease and a few months later, the Kingdom Hearts fandom inside of me died out. I wasn't very interested in video games, yet I kept playing them. I wanted to find another series to "fan" over. I knew Mario had enough fans and he wasn't very impressive anymore. Sonic? Pah. Pikmin, I didn't own at the time, yet I wanted to get it badly (I now I don't regret it). I soon found myself playing Kirby & the Amazing Mirror again and instantly fell in love with the series again, but I lost the cartridge and I became bored of him yet again. I still liked him, though. Oh yeah! I forgot to mention Animal Crossing. Almost everyone in my family played it for months and maybe even over two years. However, it became boring soon and the long hours of playing it ceased. Another thing, I made a KH fan fiction called Island Keyno. My friend and I used to play out the sword fighting scenes with swords and stuff and make up new weapons. We had a fun time with it, but it died a year later. Now, my fandom lies with Kirby and I'm making a winning fan fiction, lol. God, what will life throw at you...?

Oh, and...

Ø Stories Page and Graphical Changes Ø

6/9/2008

Mood: Normal

I've added a new page. It's Stories and it'll link to any old, current, new, and coming stories. I've also annouced the name of the Secret Story: Diddgery. If anyone knows Diddgery and cricecorns, then you'll know what I'm talking about. There's also a new story coming called Notebook Ghost. Read all about it in the Stories page.

I've been working on the site's graphics, as you've seen. I've been refreshing on CSS, which is the design language for websites. If you're viewing the background image, you may be thinking, "He did a good job with the picture." I didn't make it. It was GR Sites. They have some nice stuff there so go check them out. Nothing really happened today, other than my Dad at work. Oh yeah! If you see a red bar instead of a black-grey bar for the title, that means something really good or really bad has happened. That's all for now.

Ø Kirby & the Amazing Mirror 100% and Archives Ø

6/8/2008

Mood: Normal

Take a note of this. At 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 08, 2008, I got 100% on Kirby & the Amazing Mirror. This is my second game I've gotten 100% on! No, I'm not a very good gamer, but who cares? I beat the game! And it only took my 3 years to do it. :\ It took me 8 years to beat Kirby & the Crystal Shards. I can't wait till the remake of Kirby Super Star comes out. Hopefully, it won't change much. On an unrelated note, I like pie and the cake is a lie. I'm saving that for one of my personal quotes! :D

Also, the archives are back.

Ø LAZER GUNZ! and That Was Fun! Ø

6/7/2008

Mood: Excited

I'm here in my bed typing away on Notepad. Yes, Notepad. I got my website files from Dad's back-up hard-drive. Hopefully, he won't be too mad. Anyway, In about 1 hour and 15 minutes, Brendon's gonna be picking me up to go to that laser gun place. Did I already say Andrew's gonna be there? Yeah, I did. I watched most of The Matrix Reloaded yesterday night, but I didn't finish it. It was late and I was tired. Recently, I've been getting cold in my room at night. I'll wake up early in the morning to find my covers off of me or it's just too cold. It might be my Dad and his need for the house being cold. Down here in the basement, it's colder than the rest of the house. It ain't comfortable, but atleast Benjamin doesn't come down here. Well, I'm going to log off and get ready for the party.

Oh! Do you remember the laser show from last night? It was mediocre. Stone Mountain's quality really has been going down. I don't think they're even trying anymore! They even changed the best part of the show: The Devil Went Down to Georgia! That song rocks, but they changed it with a more rockier version. There are delays in the animations too. I'm starting to think that going to their laser shows is a big waste of time.

DIE! LEMME KILL YAA WITH LAZAS! >D NYAH! The laser place was AWESOME, but before I get to that subject, let me tell you what happened before. We went to this pizza place that I went before, but forgot. It was pretty good. After talking for about 30 minutes, we left for the laser place. We had to watch this stupid introductory video and it sucked, but once we got into the battlefield, we kicked butt! At first, I had a hard time keeping up on what to do, but on round two, I was in first place. I think we were on the Red Team. We went against the yellow team. There was this black guy in round two that was tough! His team mates weren't as good, making them easy targets for our three person team. I think they had five. They out numbered us and we still won. Round three had all three team colors, but I didn't do so well. The black dude from before was on our team this time, thank God. On Tuesdays, I think Brendon's grandmother said admission is $2. Atleast they care about the gas prices! Overall, I think it's a good party place.

Afterwards, we went to Brendon's house and played Mario Kart Wii, Brawl, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, and ate hamburgers, hotdogs, and chips. We also watched Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest. I haven't seen that movie in the longest time. After the movie was over, they brought me back here. To sum it all up, I had a great day! :)

Ø Stone Mountain Laser Show and The Matrix Ø

6/6/08

Mood: Normal, but a bit excited

Tonight, we're going to the Stone Mountain Park Laser Show. You may be thinking, "What's a laser show?" It's like those lasers at rock concerts and such, but more powerful and they aim the lasers at this. It's not really a mountain, more of a giant slab of granite. The lasers make out shapes and animations with music and some fireworks in-sync with the music. This year, they're doing a completely new laser show. The past few years, the shows weren't all that exciting. They were usually all country-based, which kinda killed it. Hopefully, this will be better. If you want to learn more about this "mountain", click here.

By the way, I watched The Matrix last night. It was better than I expected and the story seems very interesting. I won't go into much detail for those who haven't watched it, but the ending was good and bad, but still good. Does that make sense? Of course not.

Also, I found a code that'll hide and unhide text when you click on it. Here's the code:

Ø Red Tube Socks? Ø

6/5/08

Mood: Normal

You remember the kid, Gegalix, I told you about yesterday? He was banned. Diskmaster, I thank you if you're reading this. We went to the store today to stock up, since we had to throw out most of our food out. Guess what Benjamin was wearing on his feet? Red tube socks. What. The. Frell. They almost went up to his knees! Jeez, the kid freaks me out. What's more, he bought some stupid Batman costume. Halloween isn't for another 4 months. :| Someone, help me. Oh yeah! Brendon called me. He asked if I could come over on Saturday, since tomorrow's his birthday. We're going to this laser tag place! Oh man, I've always wanted to go to something like that. My birthdays are no fun anymore, but they ARE in November...unless I can move them to the summer...pah. He said Andrew is coming, too. NOW it will be a (gang?) party! Hmm...I couldn't be gangster even if I wanted to, but I would really rather not. My Mom bought him a Wal-Mart giftcard. I don't know if there will be presents, but I'm bringing a small one just in case. I'm going to have myself a peach. Cya!

Ø Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Ø

6/4/08

Mood: Annoyed

While I was searching the Internet, I found this incredibly stupid and annoying person named Gegalix. I won't go into too much detail because I'm not in the mood. That ignorant child wrecked my mood. Oh well. A new episode of Ghost Hunters comes on tonight. That'll get my mind off of that fool. Plus, it'll lighten my mood up a bit. Also, Diddgery left KRR. I didn't know much about him, but I liked that character/species of his, the cricecorn. It's basically a hamster/squirrel with a horn on his/her head. They don't like to be called hamsters or squirrels though. ;) Also, there's some sort of compatibility problem with the desktop computer. It says that some graphic card or something called ATI won't run correctly or something like that. Since I'm more of a software kind of person, this may or may not be a hardware issue. I don't know, since I'm still learning about computers. I've grown found of the laptop computer I'm using now. Sure, it may have vista installed, but it's a nice computer, anyway. 1 GB of memory, Pentium Dual-Core processor, and 100 GB of hard-drive space. It just needs a built-in SD card slot and I'll be happy. Luckily, I bought an external one a while ago, so I shouldn't complain. I hope Dad finishes up with the desktop. I would like to get my website files from it.

Ø Windows vista and Narnia Ø

6/3/2008

Mood: Sad

Right now, my Dad's trying to install Windows vista on the desktop computer. Right now, I'm on my vista laptop using Freecrap's cheap HTML box to type this in. I won't be on the Internet as much as I like anymore, mainly due to vista's time restrictions. Once he's done, as he calls it, "upgrading" to vista, I'm going to move my website files on my SD card. I may do the same thing with the other files. I'm afraid what vista may do to my website. Goodbye freedom and security, hello heck.

I forgot to tell you readers that I'm now reading book 4 of The Chronicles of Narnia, Prince Caspian. It's much more interesting than the Horse and His Boy, no offense to any Narnia fanatics. I love the series in general, it was just that one book. I did like the ending of it though. Nice turn of character name, lol! I didn't really understand the plot very well though. At first, Shasta was trying to escape to Narnia, but then-oh nevermind. Now I get it. I just needed to write it down. :\

Ø Website Change Ø

6/2/2008

Mood: Normal, but a bit excited

I'm changing how the archives are going to be archived. What I'm going to do is I won't move the articles to an archive document until the end of the month. When it's the next month, I'll move all of the month's articles into a newer archive document. If you're confused (which is likely, since I'm not good with explain things), you'll see in a week or so. NONE OF THE PREVIOUS ARTICLES HAVE BEEN DELETED! THEY ARE SAFELY ON THIS DESKTOP COMPUTER OR ON MY SD CARD! WHY AM I ALL-CAPPING LIKE THIS? 'CAUSE I'M THE WEBMASTER! :D

Ø Florida Vacation and Story News Ø

6/1/2008

Mood: Normal

I had a somewhat exciting vacation. On the way down to Florida, we took stops at Cracker Barrel and the welcome center. If none of you have ever been to Cracker Barrel, GO NOW. Anyway, I forgot my bathing suit so we had to buy me another one at Wal-Mart. This year, we got a different condo than the one we normally go to. It had more beds, but the TV didn't have a DVD player. Dad bought one for it, but I don't know if he brought it back. It was a cheaper one (no such thing as an $8 DVD player, as I know). Very strange people kept on calling for a Bruce Willis. Who the frell is Bruce Willis? THERE WAS NO BRUCE WILLIS. Stupid callers. They called three times per day for this person! One of them was this Arabian guy. Now terrorists are calling us! Epic. :| Anyway, we brought the Wii with us, even though we barely played on it. We lent the system to our aunt, who said she had a fun time with it. (On an unrelated note, Benjamin rented a copy of Brawl. Don't we already have that game? I'm sure we do, especially with those screenshots.)

I didn't go down the the beach as much as last time. It gets boring after a while. I did have a fun time in the jacuzzi. Same with the pool. And sunburn. I'm peeling all over! Don't blame me, blame the excitment on the first day at the beach. Oo! That reminds me! I pretty much beat Kirby & the Amazing Mirror. I have 90% done. I just need one paint-can, the rest of the maps (I CAN"T FIND THEM ALL!), and the song sheets. I was lucky on Tuesday. I found and beat so many bosses that day. I don't know how I did it. I've become some addicted to the Master ability, it's not even funny. Tee-hee. We did our normal things in Florida: Wings, The Oasis, South Beach Grill, the Shell Shack (I love this place! I got a sea bean here this year! :). We didn't go to the old town of St. Augustine however. I like that ice cream shop and the ghost tour. I would love to investigate paranormal phenomena some time in the future. Hmm...maybe I'll just legend trip. I'll fit right in with the ghosts, since I AM one (see 'Dead and Pikmin 2').

Also, I have some news to tell you. First off, the two stories, Columbus and Bomberman, have been canceled. Sorry, but it's official. This means the Poll page could be deleted (the second time). It's possible that Bomberman could be delayed, but don't count on it. Also, do you remember Beldra? Now it's back with a whole new plot and a different cast of characters. This is official after The Secret Story is finished. I will announce the title of the Secret Story after I'm done with The Red Diamonds. I forgot to bring my notebook along to Florida, but I still have some ideas for the story. Stay tuned! Also, CHECK OUT MAH MIDIS! :D Don't ask why, just do it.

No, I did not make this video and nor do I like this genre of music, but the lyrics match so well! (WARNING: CONTAINS LANGUAGE!)
